Not enough memory??
« on: 16. December 2016, 18:56:14 »
Hello, I have a problem with bigger sample sets in GrandOrgue, like Cracov and Koscielna.

GrandOrgue gives an error: 'not enough memory... etc.'
But I have 32 gb Ram.
Smaller sample sets are going well, also Lipiny.
My computer is new, with Win10, 32Gb Ram, i7.
There is a HDD 2Tb and an SSD 512 Gb.
I save the .rar file on the HDD. Then I choose 'open' in GO.

I've checked the task manager and the Ram memory goes up to ca. 8 Gb by loading Koscielna.  Then the organ stopped loading.

I have GO version 0.3.1.2171

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?
Thank you in advantage.

John

Did you get this problem resolved?  Maybe there is a download error?  I've had trouble downloading from
various European websites.

All the best . Ken Barta  krbar@verizon.net

I've got four organs running simultaneously with 16GB RAM and an Intel Quad-core. Maybe you should switch to LINUX Mint 64-bit. (Four organs are Barton, Silbermann, Burea AGO, and Burea Original. Titanic Tutti!
