Piano sample sets
« on: 24. November 2016, 11:07:05 »
Does anyone have experience of a good piano sample set? (Preferably free!)
I have tried one but found it disappointing, so suggestions welcome.

What about the other piano-sets on this site? Did you try them too?

A good piano set is probably quite large, because it requires lots of different attacks [very much more than a organ].

Not any help, but I have been looking for a good piano sample set for GO as well.  This would eliminate having to go back and forth between Go and Ableton 9, which usually means logging off and back in from tie ups with my ASIO driver.
Thanks

Have you looked at the modern audio APIs in GO? WDM/KS is the interface used by ASIO4ALL - better soundcards support multile concurrent streams [= more than one WDM/KS user]. Second option is WASPI.
